Kylie Baudet

Kylie has over 20 years of retail and hospitality industry experience – split equally between New Zealand and overseas.  While in the UK, Kylie managed several restaurants in the City Centre Restaurant chain before taking this experience into a training role.  This latter role was primarily designed to help management drive consistency across the brand and then to monitor it.  Over the years, Kylie got involved in coordination and management of restaurant openings, refinement of operational and administrative systems and procedures, managerial and staff induction and training, health & safety and risk assessment and management.

Kylie joined GAS soon after returning to New Zealand in 2008 and has worked in a number of roles since then.  Currently she oversees company marketing and administration with primary focus both on national campaign management and local (individual retailer) marketing and loyalty initiatives. She is editor of GAS’ in-house magazine (called the Pumpit) which aims to GAS retailers up-to-date on industry news, business developments within the network and the personal and professional successes and milestones of our businesses, owners, managers and staff throughout the country.

While Kylie thrives in the often frenetic environment that is our head office, she likes to refer to it as her “sanctuary” – apparently, when compared to life at home with her two young boys this is precisely what it seems like…!
